A technical due diligence is an in-depth assessment involving all aspects of the property, i.e. technical, legal and economic aspects. In this project, we were asked to carry out a full analysis of all the buildings on our client’s campus, with a total built area of 7,153 m2. Our team made several visits to the buildings in order to assess the condition of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning installations, electrical installations, voice and data installations and water and sewage installations, as well as legal compliance with regard to the occupation of spaces and passive fire safety. A number of recommendations were presented for the various components of the analysis, duly prioritized according to the criticality of compliance with legal requirements, the value of the investment and the timeframe for implementation.
